Did you hear, I heard,
that I flew, you flew,
at dusk, like the foxes,
my eyes, your eyes,
silver-white, like foxes,
and flew, you flew,
over things, what things,
in there, in where,
the trees, what trees,
reached up, reached what,
for me, my fur,
your fur, I heard,
they pulled, pulled what,
our love, a ruse,
was rare, on earth,
like stars that fall,
like ice, and spread,
spread what, my legs,
your legs, were white,
silver-white, like ice,
and shook, shook what,
my heart, what heart,
in truth, our love,
a ruse, on earth,
was caught, by what,
by things, what things,
my tongue, your tongue,
was white, silver-white,
like leaves, and split,
split what, in two,
like ghosts, at dusk,
like wings, they whisht,
not hurt, in truth,
just lost, a ruse.
I love how it reads like a whispered conversation.
